Robert Bosch Fellowships on South Eastern Europe


Scholarships for Minorities Applications accepted from researchers who - is a citizen or permanently located in one of the countries mentioned above - or are affiliated with universities or research institutes in the region.
Visiting Fellows must have earned Ph.D. in the humanities or social sciences and must hold an academic position or senior research, Associate Professor at least level or equivalent. Junior Visiting Fellows must now pursue their doctoral degree or have recently obtained a Ph.D. in the humanities or social sciences.
Scholarships for Minorities Projects should relate to the South-Eastern Europe and deal with issues of political, social, or economic topical relevance, according to the research priorities of the IWM.

Scholarships for Minorities Description: Robert Bosch Fellowships will allow junior and senior scholars to spend six months at the IWM in Vienna to pursue their research projects while working in residence at the Institute. The fellow will receive a salary to cover all costs associated with living in Vienna (travel, accommodation, health insurance, expenses). The IWM will provide partners with a private office with access to the internet, in-house research facilities and administration.
Visiting Fellows will receive pocket money of EUR 25,000 for the period of six months. Junior Visiting Fellows will receive pocket money of EUR 10,000 for six months. Term study of 6 months should be completed between September 1, 2011 and July 31, 2012.

Malta Government Scholarship for Minorities Scheme


Scholarship for Minorities In order to apply for MGSS, the Applicant must by closing date of application, namely June 15, 2011:
1. (A) Be a citizen of Malta who has lived in Malta during the last five (5) years.Provided that for purposes of calculating this need in 5, no consideration will be given for that time period in which the citizens of Malta has been located outside Malta for the learning, health or employment purposes or other purposes which the Board may consider, or
(B) Being a citizen of Malta who is a worker or self-employed persons in Malta, or
(C) Be a resident of the state / EU or EEA family members such as EU / EEA national (as defined in LN 191 of 2007 and LN 205 of 2004 in respectively for EU and EEA nationals), provided that the person has obtained a permanent residence in Malta in accordance with LN 191 of 2007 and LN 205 of 2004 in respectively for EU and EEA countries, or
(D) Be a resident of the state / EU EEA Agreement in Malta exercise its rights as workers, self-employed persons or persons who retain such status in accordance with LN 191 of 2007, or
(E) Be the third country national who has been granted long-term residence status under LN 278 of 2006.

2.Be implemented throughout 2011 for both studies Master's degree equivalent to the MQF Level 7 (where the courses of study exceed two [2] years) or equivalent doctoral studies MQF Level 8.

William J. Helms Memorial Scholarship for Minorities


Scholarship for Minorities are available to all students who meet but directed the applicant to indicate the association to the American Legion Family members or have close family members who are part of the Legion Family.

FIXED CRITERIA:
1. Class: Able to demonstrate the capacity for advanced academic achievement or technical
proficiency as demonstrated by a cumulative 2.0 to 3.25 l (GPA) Grade Point Average

Doctoral Student Scholarships for Minorities: The Finnish Meteorological Institute


Scholarships for Minorities Candidates should be familiar with environmental and economic use of land. Affinity with urban planning, GIS, and handling large data sets would be an advantage. Willingness and skills to operate in a multi-disciplinary projects and extensive networks are important. Work in this project is expected to produce a dissertation.

Salary
Scholarships for Minorities will be based on levels 1-4 of the need to chart the level of teaching and research personnel in the salary system of Finnish universities. In addition, the designated will be paid salary component based on personal performance.
