The Scholarship for Minorities candidate must be entering a U.S.accredited college or university as a full-time, degree seeking college freshmen or as a first-year graduate or professional student.The Scholarship for Minorities undergraduate should attained a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or greater,on a 4.0 scale at the end of the seventh semester of high school and the Graduate,Professional should attained a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or greater,on a 4.0 scale as measured by undergraduate transcripts.

Endowed Bursary for MRes History Scholarships for Minorities


The MRes Scholarships for Minorities in the presence of history to students, and developed their knowledge of methodological debates in the discipline of history, critical developments in historiography, most importantly, it allows students to pursue an important part of the research, under the supervision of a recognized expert. Scholarships for Minorities History: surveillance in a wide range of topics, the expertise of specialists is reflected in the story to a more distant cultures, periods of revolutionary changes and the current issues, including medieval Church and the Crusades, religion, print culture, gender offered in childhood modern times, the English Civil War, the politics of revolutionary France 1789-1871, modern Irish history, Jews of Eastern Europe, German occupation policy, colonial and post colonial India, local history, particularly in the Midlands, north of the Middle Ages to the Present, genocide, political violence and terrorism, sex and history of women and social history of medicine.

Khoo Teck Puat Scholarship for Minorities for Undergraduate Studies


The Khoo Teck Puat Scholarship for Minorities (KTP) aims to award scholarships to needy students who have done well academically to pursue their first undergraduate studies in NUS. The National University of Singapore (NUS) offers a variety of undergraduate scholarships and awards in recognition of outstanding academic achievements, leadership qualities and special talents. The NUS Scholarship for Minorities are freshmen scholarships provided to identify and support outstanding Singaporean students who demonstrate academic excellence, high intellectual capacity, sound character, strong leadership potential, and a passion for creativity and innovation.
Eligibility: Awardees must fulfill the following criteria:
Singapore Citizen or People’s Republic of China (PRC) citizens
Offered GCE ‘A’ levels, Diploma from a polytechnic in Singapore, equivalent qualifications (e.g. International Baccalaureate ) or equivalent qualifications direct from China
Assessed to be financially needy and have a gross monthly household per capita income of $750 and below
Matriculating into full-time undergraduate degree courses in NUS except Medicine and Dentistry, Nursing and Music

Doctoral Scholarships College at Stanford University

The DARE Doctoral Fellowship Program awards two-year fellowships to: Stanford doctoral students in their final two years, who want to investigate and prepare for academic careers, whose presence will help diversify the professoriate.Stanford’s commitment to diversity is broadly conceived to include, but is not limited to:

underrepresented racial and ethnic minorities;
first-generation college students;
women in fields such as natural science and engineering;
gay, lesbian and transgendered students;
disabled students;
others whose backgrounds and experiences would diversify the professoriate in their academic fields.

The objectives are to better prepare students from diverse backgrounds for academic careers and to have them, at the same time, enrich the educational experiences of others. Thus, the program expands the academic “pipeline” in two ways. DARE is a four-year pilot program for three cohorts of students on two-year fellowships. Twelve new Fellows will be selected each year. The first cohort of DARE Fellows was selected in spring 2008. Application deadline for the fourth cohort is April 6, 2011. Applications are sought from Stanford doctoral students from all fields, departments and programs. The application deadline for the fourth cohort is April 6, 2011. All materials, including letter of support and assessment from the primary advisor, must be submitted electronically.
